SETUP A DEVICE AND DISPLAY FOR DIYFRAME

These are the basic requirements:

1. Display
2. Device to run the DIYFRAME web app on

• The device needs to be able to run a Chromium based browser like Google Chrome, Opera, Microsoft Edge for the DIYFRAME web app
• CPU capable of playing a video at 1080p smoothly
• WiFi connection

There are countless ways to set up a display for DIYFRAME

Most Simple:

Open a DIYFRAME frame in a new tab on a tablet, smartphone or PC.

Monitor + Device:

Monitor or TV + a TV box, TV Stick, Raspberry Pi, or any other device with a Chromium based browser.

Smart TV:

Smart TV with Android TV operating system or Chromium based browser installed.

Cast to TV:

Mirror a smartphone or tablet screen to TV via Google Chromecast or Apple AirPlay

Other:

Custom builds based on a Raspberry Pi, Mini-PC, etc
