HOW TO VOTE ON A TEZOS PROPOSAL WITH TEZGOV

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to vote on a Tezos proposal by using gov.tez.capital. TEZGOV is a service made by the same team that brought us the fantastic BakeBuddy CLI.

Preparations

• Have your Ledger PIN ready
• Use Google Chrome or a Chromium based browser
• Only vote if you don't have a block to bake in the next hours. (Missed endorsements are fine) → Check your schedule at: https://tzkt.io/ [your-bakery-tz-wallet-address] /schedule Don't see a block icon? Perfect, lets vote.

Steps To Vote On A Tezos Proposal

Note: This guide assumes you're using BakeBuddy CLI for your bakery.

1. Type bb-cli stop in your terminal and hit enter
2. Quit the baking app on Ledger
3. Open the Tezos wallet app on Ledger
4. Open gov.tez.capital in your browser
5. Select Ledger than connect your Ledger on gov.tez.capital
6. Approve request connection on Ledger
7. Select the proposal you like to vote on gov.tez.capital
8. Click upvote on your selected proposal
9. Review and confirm the request on your Ledger
10. You voted! 🎉

11. Important! Return to original baking state:

    1. Quit the Ledger Tezos wallet app
    2. Open the Ledger Tezos baking app
    3. Open the terminal and type bb-cli start and hit enter
    4. Done. ✅ Thanks for voting! 🤝
